The Story Behind Tony 💙

Every great adventure has a beginning, and Tony’s story began long before the pages of a book.

In 2013, a beautiful little boy named Tony entered the world. Just three months later, his family received life-changing news: Tony had been diagnosed as legally blind.

There were many unknowns ahead. Questions filled the room. Dreams suddenly looked different than they had only weeks before. But one thing never changed: Tony’s bright spirit and determination to explore the world around him.

As Tony grew, he taught everyone around him that courage doesn’t come from having an easy path. It comes from taking the next step, even when the road looks different.

He discovered that there are many ways to “see” the world. Through laughter. Through kindness. Through imagination. Through love.

Watching Tony overcome challenges inspired his mother, Jada Dove, to create stories that would help all children feel seen, valued, and capable, whether they face disabilities, big emotions, or everyday childhood challenges.

Each Tony Adventure is more than a children’s book. It’s a celebration of resilience, inclusion, confidence, and the belief that every child has unique strengths waiting to shine.
